And The Next Thing You Know is a podcast about how our lives go exactly not as we planned them. You know, the twists in the plot, or the realization that there is no plot. Like that time we all lived in lockdown while a deadly pandemic raged across the globe. Tune in for lovingly rendered conversations about all this serendipity and trauma.

I mean really short. Like a minute or three. The mournful last hurrah of a spotty banana. A communication from the future. A cavalcade of carbs set to an 8-bit version of Bach’s Little Fugue in G Minor. I’m playing around with audio and visual micro-storytelling, so enjoy some self indulgent silliness, and follow me on TikTok or YouTube.
the songs in my head
I kept a pretty tight record of the random songs that popped into my head from 2009 to 2012, and then sporadic track after that (there’s actually a new post in 2022!) My earworms lean heavily toward 70s and 80s rock and pop, but there’s an entry as old as the 16th Century in there, and genres as disparate as ragtime and prog.
